As event planner you will have the chance to offer your clients an extraordinary experience in one of Denmark’s most beautiful buildings in the heart of Copenhagen. Thorvaldsens Museum is known for its unique architecture and not least Denmark’s best known artist, Bertel Thorvaldsen (1770-1844) and his sculptures. This setting adds an original touch to your events, be they dinners or receptions.

The Museum’s rooms can only be rented outside normal opening hours for dinners and receptions. The rooms can be viewed by contacting Head of Communications Maria Horn, who can also answer questions of a practical nature. Minimum price: DKK 27.500

Maximum number of people for sit down dinner: 150
Maximum number of people receptions: up to 350

The listed prices are exempt from VAT and only cover renting of rooms.

The rooms are rented out

Tuesday-Sunday between 5 p.m.– 12 midnight and Monday between 10 a.m. – 12 midnight.
Saturday and Sunday an extra fee of DKK 4.000 is added.
