Free admission for young people in Week 37
8-13 SEPTEMBER
K7 WEEK, the annual youth culture week, returns from 8–13 September 2026, once again giving young people the chance to experience art and culture completely free of charge.
Throughout the week, everyone aged 18–27 can enjoy free admission to more than 250 museums and art galleries across Denmark – including Thorvaldsens Museum.
Discover Bertel Thorvaldsen’s fascinating sculptures, explore his impressive collection of antiquities, and take in the museum’s beautiful and colourful architecture.
You can also join us for the opening of our brand-new exhibition Life, Longing & Landscape – Thorvaldsen’s Painting Collection on 9 September at 4pm. Admission is, of course, free for young people taking part in K7 WEEK.
