Explanation
- Pope Pius 7 (1740-1823) completed the restoration of the Arch of Titus in the Forum Romanum in Rome in 1823. Antonio Aquaroni was tasked with depicting the arch, for the papal printing press Calcografia Camerale having the wish to produce more views of Rome.
