Drawing Workshop for Families

On the last saturday in every month we are offering family workshops in which our drawing instructor introduces visitors to various techniques and guides individual participants on the particular level most suited to them. NB! In Danish.

Thorvaldsens Museum is overflowing with sculptures, reliefs, patterns and paintings and it is full of remarkable shapes, colours and stories. All this can be experienced in many different ways – one of them is by sitting down and drawing it all! Each workshop has its own theme, so you can wish to participate on more than one occasion.

Who for: Children from 8 years of age together with their grown-ups.
Price: DKK 100 per adult. Children accompany their grown-ups free of charge.

Classical Drawing Workshop

Dates: Saturday January 28, march 31, May 26, September 29 and November 24, 2012 from 11.00 to 13.00.

In the classical drawing workshop we test various ways of seeing, experiencing and drawing, inspired by the classical drawing technique.

The Experimental Drawing Workshop

Dates: Saturday February 25, April 28, August 25 and October 27, 2012 from 11.00 to 13.00.

In these workshops, you will be experimenting with various drawing techniques ranging far beyond the classical tradition. You will be drawing in amusing and curious ways, and everyone can take part!
