Free audio guide

The Museum’s audio guide is available in both Danish and English free of charge to visitors from the Museum shop until 4 p.m.

With the audio guide the Museum’s guests can put together their own guided tour of Thorvaldsen’s unique sculptures. Curator William Gelius tells about the mythology behind the hero Jason, Ganymede the cup-bearer of the gods and of Venus the goddess of beauty, and also about the people who ordered the sculptures, the art-historical characteristics and much more.

Visitors may borrow an audio guide free of charge from the museum shop by leaving a picture ID as a deposit.
